Day 1
You will be met by our representative at Ben Gurion Airport, and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 2
We spend the day in Jerusalem, starting with a panoramic view of the city from the Mount of Olives and a visit to the Church of all Nations. On Mount Zion, we see King David’s Tomb and the traditional Room of the Last Supper. Entering the Old City, we walk along the ancient Roman road known as the Cardo. Then we visit the Jewish and Christian Quarters and view the Temple Mount. We follow the Via Dolorosa and go through part of the Shuk to reach the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We finish the day at the peaceful and deeply meaningful Garden Tomb. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 3
We spend most of today in Jerusalem. The day begins with a short drive to the outskirts of Jerusalem to visit Ein Kerem, the traditional birthplace of John the Baptist. Then we spend time at Yad Vashem, the moving memorial to the Holocaust. Afterwards, we visit the Israel Museum where the Dead Sea Scrolls are safely kept. We also see the fascinating model of Jerusalem as it would have been at the time of the Second Temple. The day’s touring ends with a trip to Bethlehem* where we visit the Shepherds’ Fields, and walk through Manger Square to the Church of the Nativity. We then return to Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 4
The day begins with a drive through the Judean hills to the Qumran caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered by a goatherd. Continuing along the shores of the Dead Sea, we reach Masada, Herod’s hilltop fortress. Here we see the remains of the walls, Herod’s Palace and amazing water cistern. We ascend and descend by cable car. Afterwards we go to the Dead Sea**, the lowest place on the planet, and experience a float on the sea, as well as the opportunity to pamper your skin with the mineral-rich mud. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 5
We depart Jerusalem and travel through the Jordan valley to Bet Shean to explore the excavated Roman city and amphitheatre. We continue to Yardenit baptismal site on the River Jordan and see people from all over the world being baptised. Next, we make our way to Nazareth where we visit the Church of the Annunciation, Mary’s Well and Joseph’s workshop. Next we drive to Cana, home to the Wedding Church, and see where Jesus performed His first miracle, turning water into wine. Overnight in Kibbutz.

Day 6
We start the day with a short tour of Tiberias, then board a replica wooden boat and enjoy a memorable trip on the Sea of Galilee. After our boat ride we see the Jesus Boat, an ancient fishing boat, at the Yigal Alon Centre. We continue on to Capernaum to experience “the Town of Jesus” and see the remains of the ancient synagogue. The next stop is Tabgha, the site of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes. From here we proceed to the famous Mount of Beatitudes where we can visualise Jesus delivering the Sermon on the Mount. We end the day’s touring with a trip to the Banias Springs and a visit to the Golan Heights. Overnight in Kibbutz.

Day 7
After breakfast we drive to Acre, visiting the outstanding underground Crusader city and crypt. We walk through the Old City, a UNESCO world heritage site, the harbour and the market. Then we make our way to Megiddo, the Biblical Armageddon, where we visit its remarkable excavations. Continuing on to Muhraka on Mount Carmel, we see the site of Elijah’s confrontation with the false prophets, whilst savouring the view of the Jezreel Valley and lower Galilee. The next stop is Caesarea, the town built in honour of Augustus Caesar by Herod the Great. Here we see the magnificent amphitheatre, aqueduct and hippodrome. At the end of the day’s touring, we make our way to Tel Aviv. Overnight in Tel Aviv.

Day 8
We transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for our flight home.
