Day 1
You will arrive at Athens airport and be transferred to your hotel. Depending on your flight arrival time, you will be able to enjoy some free time in Athens. Overnight in Athens.

Day 2
After breakfast, we depart for an organised Half Day Athens Sightseeing coach tour. This will include a guided visit of the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. This gives us the chance to experience the astonishing contrasts that make Athens such a captivating city. We enjoy a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium, home to the first modern-day Olympic Games, held in 1896. Then we pass by the Prime Minister’s residence guarded by the Evzones in their unusual uniforms. We see the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch. Also on the itinerary are the Academy, the University, the National Library, Syntagma Square, and the Greek House of Parliament, a neoclassical structure overlooking the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

We continue to the famous Acropolis, where we ascend to the top of this rock via a series of steps. At the top we pass through the Propylaea, the stately entrance to the magnificent structures inside, and we will enjoy a spectacular view of the city as well as the entire basin of Attica. From here we continue to the Temple of Athena Nike, and the Erechtheion, an ancient Greek temple on the north side of the Acropolis. We then visit the magnificent Parthenon, arguably the best known and most awesome structure on the Acropolis. This huge Doric temple was dedicated to the divine patroness of Athens, Athena. We make our way to the new Acropolis Museum, less than 1,000 feet southeast of the Parthenon. Here we enjoy a unique and memorable journey through history.

We return to our hotel in the early afternoon. The remainder of the day will be at leisure. Overnight in Athens.

Day 3
After breakfast, we depart for an organised Half Day Ancient Corinth coach tour.
We drive westwards along the beautiful coast until we reach the Corinth Canal with its breathtaking views. We enjoy a short stop here for a photo opportunity. The Corinth Canal is international sea transport junction. It serves vessels coming from and going to ports in the Mediterranean Sea, Adriatic Sea and Black Sea. The Corinth Canal is 6.3 kilometres long and cuts through the Isthmus of Corinth. We soon reach the ancient town of Corinth where Paul lived and preached for two years. The site of Ancient Corinth was first inhabited in the Neolithic period (5000-3000 BC). The visit concludes with a brief stop at the Site of the Ancient Port of Cenchreae, where Paul disembarked. We return to Athens in time for lunch. The rest of the day will be free to explore at leisure. Overnight in Athens.

Day 4
Today we are free to explore further at our leisure. We can visit the markets and soak up the local atmosphere. Overnight in Athens.

Day 5
We depart Athens for an organised coach tour to Delphi and Meteora. We travel via Thebes, Levadia, and the picturesque village of Arachova, a mountainous village sitting picturesquely at the foot of Mt. Parnassós in Viotia, Southern Greece. We arrive in Delphi and visit the archaeological site. From here we make our way to Kalambaka, passing through beautiful villages and towns. Overnight in Kalambaka.

Day 6
Today we explore the outstanding ancient cliff-top monasteries of Meteora, and enjoy the unique and stunning scenery of these UNESCO World Heritage listed monasteries.
